The 5.8 metre Pan band of the IRS has here been fused with landsat
7 Bnads 4 5 3, stretched to enhance the evaluation of woodland areas.
Within the central area of chestnut woods, the varying colours correspond
to the degree of recutting and the age of regrowth. Tractor paths
are also visible. Processed by Eurimage.

WiFS
The WiFS sensor has a resolution of 188 metres, and two bands (here
combined with a syinthetic green channel). This resolution provides
primarily meteorological and vegetation information on regional,
national and even continental scales.
