Eurimage Meeting 2008

Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to inform you that registrations are open for the rescheduled Eurimage International Meeting 2008, which will now take place at the Matteo Ricci Congress Centre near the Trevi Fountain, in the heart of Rome, on the 9th and 10th of October 2008. To attend the meeting, please register by September 15, using the form available here.

We would like to apologise once again for any inconvenience caused by the postponment.

Our Agency responsible for the meeting organisation, Spazio Congressi s.r.l., will be pleased to help you with hotel registrations and any other logistical support. Please note that due to summer closures, hotel reservations arriving after August 7 will be dealt with and confirmed only from the beginning of September.

Details of the Meeting agenda are still being developed: the first day will be dedicated to presentations from both satellite providers and Eurimage to provide an update on the latest developments in Earth Observation, with special focus on the new satellite missions, whether already operational or coming soon.

The first day will end with a guided visit to the celebrated Capitoline Museums and a gala dinner on a terrace overlooking the city, for which delegates will be guests of Eurimage. For logistical reasons please do not forget to indicate in the meeting registration form if you wish to join us in these events.

The second day, following the tradition of the Eurimage International Meetings, will give space to clients and partners of Eurimage to present practical examples of their projects using our data. The Meeting closing is planned for October 10th at about 17.00.
