Click on images to see full-size versions GeoEye-1 50 cm imagery of the damaged nuclear reactor at Fukushima, Japan The image on the left shows the plant before the earthquake of March 11, while that on the right, acquired March 13, clearly shows the damage to the outer building holding the Number 1 reactor. Since this image was acquired, there has been another explosion in reactor Number 3, while water levels are reported to be falling in Number 2.
