ALOS data now available
Eurimage is pleased to announce the start of commercialization of ALOS world-wide archive products.
The world-wide programming of ALOS satellite is done by JAXA according to a long-term acquisition strategy aimed at the creation of a global archive. Input for programming can also come from customer requests for large areas or strategic projects. Please contact your Eurimage Sales Team representative for particular requests.
The ALOS satellite has:

one radar sensor: PALSAR, an L-band SAR instrument

two optical instruments: PRISM (Panchromatic Remote-sensing Instrument for Stereo Mapping) for high resolution imagery, and AVNIR-2 (Advanced Visible and Near-Infrared Radiometer type 2) for land coverage observation
Data acquired over the ADEN zone (Europe, Africa and Middle East) by ESA stations Matera, Maspalomas and Tromsø are accessible through the EOLI-SA tool (http://www.eurimage.com/EOLI/)
Data outside this zone are accessible through the AUIGS tool (http://www.eurimage.com/AUIGS/)
All products have a unit price of 500 Euro (see Eurimage Price List)
Orders must be submitted to Eurimage in the form of the shop cart files generated by EOLI-SA.
Orders not submitted using EOLI-SA are subject to a handling fee of 20 Euro/scene.
Delivery time: 15 days from order confirmation for data available on EOLI-SA. Other data requires additional time to transfer the data from JAXA to ESA ground stations.
Products are available on CD-ROM, DVD and ftp.
