Web Mapping Service

The WMS allows users to access e-GEOS databases through the web, 24/7. WMS is the data sharing standard in the GIS/WebGIS environments which allows GIS users to integrate their own data with those made available through e-GEOS services. The use of WMS allows the most common applications, both commercial (ESRI, INTERGRAPH, AUTODESK) and open-source (QGIS) to

• Access the e-GEOS cartographic servers
• Visualize raster and vector layers
• Process data using dedicated software directly within their own working environment.

On request, e-GEOS also offers the possibility to host, on its own servers, user databases  belonging to clients, in a secure and protected manner.

WEB-GIS

WEB-GIS is based on an interface created by e-GEOS and permits the integration of large quantities of data via web without the need for dedicated software or hardware. It is possible to personalize the service by adding calculation and management functions defined with the client. Client databases can be hosted on e-GEOS servers and integrated for greater efficiency. The service is aimed both at GIS experts and at users who need access to value-added services but don't want to purchase a GIS license.

Off-line

The product is provided on DVD or HD of the highest quality, along with metadata files or certification of acquisition data.
